In a small village in Uttarkhand (India), the local and global meet in different ways to create sustainable solutions to real-life problems.

HimVikas connects the dots between the urban and rural to enhance  young people’s educational experiences, improve livelihood opportunities for rural communities, and sustainable living practices for all. We facilitate experiments and learning experiences that take place in and around Kaaya Centre located in Tilwari village in Dehradun, India.

Kaaya in Hindi means a ‘body’ or ‘form’. It represents a physical space for hands-on learning, unlearning, relearning, and creation.
